So I have been lax in talking about what I am actually doing here, other than goofing around.

This account will most likely feature photography only. I can write, I can draw a bit as I was taught by my good friend white_tean; but neither of these things will probably be posted here. My writing is probably my first priority and what I want to make a living out of so I tend to keep that pretty close. I am paranoid like that Drawings may appear, but like I said before, I am not all that good. So we shall see.

Photography-wise I haven't had any lessons nor do I own anything like photoshop. So what you see here is what I have managed to do with the settings on my camera and cropping. I am still very much an amatuer but hope to get some lessons one day.

When I take photos I tend to concentrate on colour and composition. Colour is very important to me and with composition I try to get angles or ideas that other people wouldn't from the scene in front of me.

The subjects of my photos tend to be varied as I have travelled a lot. However I am not very good at portraits or general people shots. Therefore it will be more landscapes or animals. I also have a great love for close-ups of flowers and plants having grown up in the botanist family that I did.

In an effort to be slightly less lazy I have also decided to post a haiku poem with each photo. Just because I think haikus are cute and relatively easy, so you are welcome to comment on either them or the photos if you like. Or, even better, both!

Other than that I tend to post what I feel like when I feel like rather than doing anything in any order. I have quite a lot of photos as I have been taking what I would consider something slightly more than holiday shots since around 2004. So also feel free to drop me a comment with any requests if there is something you want and I shall do my best to fulfill it
